Fisheye 9 is a fully self contained two bedroom
cottage. It is ideal for families, groups of friends or couples who
are looking for some quality time away by the beach. Surrounded by eucalyptus
trees and birdsong, Fisheye 9 is also ideal for people who require disabled
accommodation. Designed and owned by an occupational therapist, this
cottage style accommodation has all modern conveniences. It has been
built to the Australian wheelchair access standards with the assistance
of wheelchair users. There are also lots of accessible attractions and
entertainment close by that are ideal for wheelchairs, including a beach
wheelchair at Apollo Bay. |

Although extremely comfortable for all concerned, Fisheye 9 has been designed to cater to people with physical disabilities. Access is via a ramp and all doors are wider to allow ease of access for wheelchair users. The modern bathroom is perfectly designed and the well appointed kitchen and living room have easy access and ample space. The master bedroom is designed for easy wheelchair transfers. Respite care can also be arranged if asked for in advance. The only thing missing in this well designed cottage is a clinical atmosphere. |
